Blustery Afternoon, The Hook Lighthouse, Co. Wexford
A view of the Hook lighthouse from a different perspective. Made on a late afternoon in windy weather, I attempted to capture the 800 year old lighthouse in its context, with the uneasy sea and clouds dominating the scene.
Lately, I've been photographing more in black and white, but this image being made a few years ago marked a departure for me - however, it was an obvious choice for conversion as the colour was distracting from the tone and mood of the scene.
